Pacific mackerel fishery
Sigma Marine Technology starts fishing for Pacific Mackerel from July 2016.
Pacific Mackerel is a valuable food fish. Its meat is fat (16.5% fat), rich in vitamin B12, without small bones, tender and tasty. This fish lives in subtropical and temperate waters of all oceans between 180 ° W. and 180 ° E. and between 60 ° N and 55 ° S.
These pelagic fish are found at a depth of 300 m. The maximum length is 64 cm.
